| Defibrillators for the Workplace The Philips OnSite defibrillator (also known as the HeartStart) is the only defibrillator currently approved for home use. There are a ton of others available for the workplace, however, the OnSite may also be used at work and could be just the thing for your business. We also the Philips FRx It, too, is reliable, easy to use, and absolutely will NOT allow you to administer a shock to someone who should not be shocked. It may be better suited to a work environment that is subject to temperature extremes or rough handling.

The Philips FRx Defibrillator is designed to be easy to use, rugged and reliable so that first responders can use it with both ease and confidence. On the scene with law enforcement, on the field with student athletes, or on the job with employees, this is the solution for treating Sudden Cardiac Arrest from ventricular fibrillation in environments and conditions too demanding for other defibrillators.
At the core of ALL Philips defibrillators is SMART Biphasic technology. This biphasic waveform delivers a highly effective defibrillation shock that is also gentle to the heart. No other external defibrillation therapy has been supported by more published clinical data.
SMART Analysis, a proven Philips technology for heart rhythm assessment used by both the FRx and the OnSite, ensures that the defibrillator only shocks when it should. SMART Analysis automatically assesses the victim's heart rhythm and is designed not to deliver a shock unless the rhythm is determined to be shockable -- even if you push the SHOCK button, it will not administer a shock if one is determined not to be necessary.
The FRx is also exceptionally rugged. Designed to surpass rigorous testing rquirement, it withstands jetting water, loads of up to 500 pounds, and a one-meter drop onto concrete.
The price above includes the standard carrying case. |

| Highly Recommended
Options We recommend the following two options should be included with any AED purchase:
If you select the FRx and if children will be in the area, then we strongly suggest you also include the Infant/Child Key.

|
The Fast Response Kit is a 5.5 x 9.5 zippered pouch which can be attached to the handle of the carrying case and includes the following items:

Regardless of the model of defibrillator you're using, the pads may be used in only one incident and must be replaced after the completion of that incident. The FRx has only one set of pads which may be used on either an adult or a child. Remember that when you use the FRx with a child, you must use the Infant/Child Key to adjust the shock to be administered. |

|
This Infant/Child Key allows you to switch the FRx from adult mode to child mode. Simply insert the key and turn. That's all there is to it. |
